PITTSBURGH - Three people were arrested after a fight broke out Monday night in Brookline involving several dozen people.
Authorities said the fight, which involved almost 50 people, was reported outside of the Ritz Banquet Hall on Brookline Boulevard.
The owner of the banquet hall told Channel 11’s Renee Kaminski that the fight started after someone tried to crash a private birthday party at the hall.
According to police, Stephen Howell, Jacob Nivicki and John Russo were arrested for their involvement in the fight.
Investigators said after officers arrived at the scene, Howell, Nivicki and Russo continued fighting and yelled at the crowd to riot.
Police said the entire brawl was caught on surveillance cameras, and detectives hope to use the footage in their investigation.
