CRANBERRY, Pa. — Three people were injured Thursday afternoon when their car drove into a retaining pond off on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.
According to police, the car hit a road sign and then veered into the pond that was about 6 feet deep.
Officials said the accident happened on I-79 North near the entrance to the PA Turnpike around 1 p.m.
The three victims’ injuries are not life-threatening, Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz reported.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
