MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Police are investigating a third shooting in just over a week in McKeesport.
Investigators said the latest shooting happened around 11 p.m. Thursday at the HiView Gardens.
Officers said when they arrived they found a 23-year-old man in a hallway with multiple gunshot wounds.
Last Thursday, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the neck and killed in the Crawford Village Housing Complex. Another man was also shot at Crawford Village last Monday, police said.
Allegheny County police said they're looking into whether the shootings are connected.
McKeesport police said they have increased patrols in the housing developments in light of the recent violence.
