HOUSTON, Texas — An 8-month-old baby from Houston was found unharmed Monday after police said she was inside a car that was stolen.
According to investigators, a jogger heard the child crying and found her lying in her infant carrier in a grassy field.
The infant’s mother told police that she left Genesis Haley in the car when she went inside a gas station, and watched as someone drove the vehicle away.
