90,000 pound ice maze opens at Boyce Park

PITTSBURGH — A maze constructed from 90,000 pounds of ice has been relocated to Boyce Park.

The maze opened to the public on Saturday at the Boyce Park Four Seasons Lodge after debuting downtown during First Night Pittsburgh.

Created by master ice carver and owner of Ice Creations, Richard Bubin, the maze was reassembled using blocks of ice stacked 5 feet high.

The maze will remain at Boyce Park for as long as weather permits and opens during ski slope hours.
