AG's Office arrests man accused of trying to have sex with 13-year-old girl

EVANS CITY, Pa. — An Evans City man was arrested by agents of the Attorney General’s Office Tuesday after they said he tried to meet and have sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Authorities said Dennis Belles thought he was meeting a 13-year-old girl, but he was actually in contact with an agent from the AGO.

Authorities said when Belles showed up for a meet with the girl he was arrested.

Belles is charged with unlawful contact with a minor, attempted involuntary sexual intercourse, criminal use of a communication facility and attempted indecent assault.

He remains in jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bond.
