Armed robber hits Dairy Queen in Bethel Park

BETHEL PARK, Pa. — Police are looking for the person who robbed a Dairy Queen in Bethel Park Friday afternoon.

Mackenzie Happe, who was working at the restaurant on Library Road at the time of the incident, said a man walked up to the counter with a grocery bag and demanded money. She said he was wearing a black hoodie, sunglasses, and a face mask.

Happe said he showed a gun, and she hit a panic button under the counter after giving him the contents of the cash register. The man then took off.

Police said there have been other armed robberies at Sunoco and Subway in Castle Shannon.
