CLARION COUNTY, Pa. — An aunt and her boyfriend have been arrested in connection with the death of a baby boy, police said.
State police in Clarion County said Zeke Hamilton was 6 months old when he was taken camping with his aunt, Kelly Hemminger, and her boyfriend, Chad Chadwick.
Police said the infant became sick and started seizing during the Labor Day trip.
Doctors told police the baby was shaken and suffered a fractured skull and broken ribs.
Police said they believe Chadwick inflicted the injuries while alone with the baby.
Hamilton lived on a ventilator for 78 days and passed away in November.
