FAYETTE COUNTY,Pa. — The Fayette County coroner is running tests Friday to determine the cause of death of a 3-month-old baby.
The baby’s mother told officials that she took a nap next to the child Thursday afternoon, and when she woke up the child was unresponsive.
The baby was taken to Uniontown Hospital, where he or she was pronounced dead.
The mother said the child had no known health issues.
Police say the child died of natural causes and they are not investigating.
