WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. - Police are investigating two Saturday morning robberies in Westmoreland County.
Kingston Veterans and Sportsman Club in Derry Township was broken into early Saturday by two men.
Officials said the pair gained entry into the private pass-code protected bar as people left.
“They wait for another person to come out. They grab him and they force their way back into the place, where one guy goes in,” said Trooper Steve Limani.
One of the men had a BB gun, while the other carried a lighter disguised as a gun.
Police said the robbers ordered patrons to the ground as they stole money from them and the cashier.
Authorities were alerted to the robbery as the same two men made their way to Tommasini’s, which was also targeted by the robbers, police said.
According to police, Andrew Brunetto and Richard Lenhart were charged in the robberies. Police believe the men may be connected to other robberies in the area.
