McCANDLESS TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A North Allegheny High School student was hospitalized after crashing his bicycle in North Park Sunday.
Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE report that the accident happened along Pierce Mill Road Sunday afternoon.
Officials said the teen crashed into a guide rail, and was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital to be treated for a severe cut to his stomach.
The teen just completed his junior year, officials said, and is expected to be OK.
