Body of missing elderly man found in New Brighton

NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. — The body of an elderly man who went missing from a Beaver Falls personal care home last month was found in New Brighton on Saturday.

The deputy coroner identified the body as 61-year-old Michael Lyles.

Police said Lyles has been missing since Jan. 3 when he walked away from the Smith Personal Care Home.

Workers at the Beaver Falls Hydroelectric Plant found Lyles body while cleaning out grates.

Police said it is still not clear how he ended up there.
