McMURRAY, Pa. - School officials said an anonymous threat found inside Peters Township Middle School Friday morning prompted an evacuation.
Peters Township School District officials said the threat was found around 10:30 a.m.
Police were called to the school as students were moved by buses onto the McMurray Elementary campus.
Officials said the students were kept warm on the buses while police conducted their investigation.
Authorities swept the building and ruled it safe a short time later.
