Brother, sister talk to Channel 11 after arrest in fatal shooting of NA grad

WEXFORD, Pa. — The brother and sister of the North Allegheny graduate shot and killed in Indianapolis last week talked to Channel 11 after an arrest was made.

Authorities with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced Tuesday that a 16-year-old boy had been arrested in connection with Nathan Trapuzzano's murder last week.

Trapuzzano, a 2007 NA graduate, was shot and killed while on his morning walk in the city's Westside area.

"'Angry' would be the word of choice.  Shocked.  Frustrated.  Sickened," said Shayne Trapuzzano, the victim's sister.

Homicide detectives identified the suspect as Simeon Adams.

Adams is being held at a juvenile center as he recovers from a gunshot wound he received during an incident on April 1.

"Hopefully, they stay off the street.  They can't do this again, but it doesn't fix anything with my brother," said Matthew Trapuzzano, the victim's brother.

According to police, Adams is also a suspect in an aggravated assault on March 30.
