PITTSBURGH - A young boy was rushed to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Wednesday after nearly drowning in a pool at the Fox Chapel Golf Club.
Police said they were called to the club around 8:30 p.m. and when they arrived the boy was unconscious.
It’s unclear how long the child may have been in the water before he was pulled out.
An officer told Channel 11 News that the 8-year-old was crying when medics transported him to the hospital.
WPXI-TV is working to learn the boy’s condition as of Thursday morning.
