Brentwood pharmacy robbed 3 times

BRENTWOOD, Pa. — The Spartan Pharmacy in Brentwood has been robbed three times, and the owner said he has had enough.

"He walked up to the front counter and presented a note to the teller, saying, 'We want all the oxycodone products' we had in stock and that he had a weapon," said Spartan Pharmacy President Adam Rice while watching surveillance video of one of the incidents.

After getting the drugs, the man walked out of the front door and strolled across Route 51, police said.  Cars had to stop to keep from hitting him.

"You have clinically trained people who got into this profession to take care of people and keep people in good health and here you have somebody threatening their lives and health while they are at work, so it's quite alarming," said Rice.

The owner has added extra cameras to increase security.

"At the end of the day, we need to make sure that both our customers and employees feel safe going to work," said Rice.
