Camera found inside employee bathroom at New Kensington gas station

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Channel 11 News has uncovered a new investigation that was brought to New Kensington police's attention on Monday.

Chief Tom Klawinski said someone who works at the Fueland and BP gas station found a camera in an employee bathroom.

Police said district managers for the gas station reported the incident to officers, who later discovered that the store manager placed the camera there.

Investigators said the store manager told them that he put the camera in the bathroom because he thought theft was happening.

Detectives have recovered two the man's computers and they're waiting on a search warrant to review captured video.

Channel 11's Kelly Brennan reported that the bathroom is not for use of the general public and store policy doesn't allow the public to use the employee bathroom.

Klawinski said the store manager was fired immediately.
