Car strikes building in Perry North

PITTSBURGH — One person was taken to the hospital after a car struck a building in Pittsburgh's Perry North neighborhood.

The accident happened about 4 p.m. on Perrysville Avenue.

Channel 11 has learned that a vehicle was attempting to make a turn, causing another vehicle to lock up its brakes. The second vehicle struck Trios Market.

"The whole building just shook. I mean, it just trembled. You could feel it just shaking," said Christina Clinger.

The condition of the person taken to the hospital is unclear.
