EAST WASHINGTON, Pa. ,None — Police are investigating what caused an infant’s death in Washington County.
According to Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE, a 6-month-old child was sleeping with her grandmother on a sofa when family members realized the infant was not breathing and rushed the girl to a hospital.
Doctors could not revive her and the infant died.
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday night, but the results are unknown.
