Channel 11 checks out eaglets in Lawrence County

ELLPORT, Pa. — Eagles in Lawrence County are getting ready to soar.

The pair of eaglets hatched two months ago along the Connoquenessing Creek in Ellport.

"They are a big draw.  Everyone is talking about them," said Mayor Joe Cisco.

People have been visiting to try to get glimpses of them.

The Pittsburgh eaglets recently took off, and Moraine State Park has two nests.  The Game Commission said eagles are really making a comeback in our area.
