• Chuck Noll covers this week's ‘Sports Illustrated'

PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame coach Chuck Noll is on the cover of this week’s edition of Sports Illustrated.

Noll is celebrated in the issue for not only leading to Steelers to four Super Bowl victories, but also for his quiet, effective leadership style.

Check out the print edition for SI.com senior writer Tim Layden’s piece on how Noll built the Pittsburgh dynasty.

Former Steelers running back Rocky Bleier also contributed to the article, saying in part, “Chuck loved teaching moments, but he wasn’t an orator or a motivator. Chuck would say, “It’s not my job to hold your hand. It’s my job to take motivated people and show them how to become better.”
