CLAIRTON, Pa. - Clairton residents are upset over the announced closure of the city’s PNC Bank branch.
The PNC Bank, set to close on Aug. 16, is the only bank within the community, leaving people with no choice but to do their banking elsewhere.
Residents are concerned for Clairton’s senior population, many of whom do not have transportation readily available to them.
A town hall meeting was held Thursday to discuss the closure.
