A computer glitch at Citizen's Bank caused major headaches for customers who weren’t able to get access to their accounts on Friday.
Customers weren’t able to get money out of the Automated Teller Machines or access their accounts online.
Citizens Bank released the following statement during the outage: "Please be assured that we are taking every step to make online banking available as soon as possible and that all scheduled transactions will be processed on time. Again, we apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you."
As of 3 p.m., the bank was fully operational, but there are still some glitches as so many customers are trying to access their accounts, said Target 11 consumer investigator Robin Taylor.
