WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. - Construction has begun on Kennywood’s newest ride, The Black Widow.
Riders will sit on a pendulum that swings back and forth, while their legs dangle more than 100 feet in the air.
The Black Widow goes more than 70 mph and while on the ride, the rider will experience weightlessness.
The ride is expected to open in May, Kennywood officials said.
