College students react to controversial billboard featuring retired porn star

PITTSBURGH — A controversial billboard for a dating website appearing in Pittsburgh's Overbrook neighborhood is turning heads.

The billboard, on Library Road inside the Royal Place parking lot, features retired adult entertainment star Bree Olson alongside the caption, "Hey Students, Need a Summer Job? Date a Sugar Daddy!"

The billboard is an advertisement for the website ArrangementFinders.

ArrangementFinders CMO A.J. Perkins said he’s hopeful his campaign “will capture the attention of hundreds of thousands of aspirational coeds hanging around the Carnegie Mellon campus this summer.”

University of Pittsburgh student Katie Fritz said, “I work every single day during the summer and during the school year, so I think you earn what you work for, so I don't agree with that"

“Sounds pretty shady to me. I don't think it’s something that should be surprising to hear. That kind of thing is going on in the U.S.,” said Pitt student Jake Jager.

Perkins said the billboard and offer are legitimate. He said the site already has more than 8,000 members in the Pittsburgh area, and he expects membership in the area to grow in coming weeks.

Pitt student Amy Tiernan said, “It’s just something I would never consider doing. It’s just not who I am. I don't know, it’s all about who you are.”
