Couple, baby found sleeping in stolen vehicle in Avalon

None — AVALON, Pa. -- Avalon police said a couple was found sleeping inside a stolen car with their baby.

The married couple, whose names haven’t been released, were found with the child early Monday morning.

Police arrested the couple after discovering the vehicle was stolen from out of state.

Police said the child was checked out at a local hospital and was put in the custody of Children and Youth Services. The couple was taken to Allegheny County Jail.
