A Cranberry woman was sentenced to prison Wednesday for stealing her parents’ identities.

Meredith Shuster, 36, was convicted of using the identities to take out nearly $730,000 in student loans – much of which paid for plastic surgery.

A federal judge ordered Shuster to 15 months in a federal prison. She was also ordered to repay nearly $633,000 in outstanding debt.
