Westmoreland Co. man, 78, killed when tractor overturns

SOUTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — A 78-year-old man has been killed when his tractor overturned while he was mowing a hillside in South Huntingdon Township.

The Westmoreland County coroner said Lewis McIntyre died Tuesday afternoon of trauma injuries after the tractor hit a tree stump and overturned onto him.

The incident happened about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday along McCune Road.
