BEECHVIEW, Pa. - Workers with PA American Water were called to the scene of a water main break early Tuesday morning in Beechview.
Officials said the 10-inch break happened about 1:40 a.m. near West Liberty and Pauline avenues.
A Channel 11 News crew saw water coming out of a manhole in the road before workers were able to turn the water off.
About 25 people are without water, and crews said they expect everything to be repaired and water service restored by Tuesday night.
