WARRENDALE, Pa. - People rocked out to find a cure for pediatric and adolescent/young adult cancer Saturday night in Warrendale.
Channel 11’s Courtney Brennan emceed CureRock at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille.
The concert raised money for oncology programs at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
Jake Cooper said, “I started it three years ago, largely with a lot of bands from town that I’d become friends with over the years. I just wanted to merge what I love about Pittsburgh with what I do at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital and try to have everyone share the same things.”
