DA: 3 Allegheny County men arrested on child porn charges

PITTSBURGH — Authorities announced the arrests of three Allegheny County men Wednesday on unrelated child pornography charges.

Investigators from the district attorney’s office said they found images or videos on the home computers of 50-year-old Darren Stevenson, 30-year-old Robert Arasin and 23-year-old Ethan Cardone.

Cardone, of Ohio Township, was charged following an investigation that began when a detective from the Indiana County District Attorney's Office conducting an investigation of Internet sharing of child pornography uncovered evidence that Cardone was obtaining files from a file-sharing network, according to a criminal complaint.

Stevenson, of South Park, was charged following an investigation that started after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children told detectives that it believed images were being uploaded on his computer, according to a criminal complaint

Arasin, of Swissvale, was arrested after admitting that he collects child pornography and trades it with others, a criminal complaint states.

Stevenson and Arasin face preliminary hearings on May 28 and Cardone faces his on May 22.
