Daughter of missing Ross Township woman: 'I wish she was here'

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — One year after her disappearance, family and friends held a candlelight vigil to pray for a missing Ross Township woman.

Jamie Peterson vanished a year ago. Her children said they realized she was missing when they returned home from school and she wasn't there.

Dozens of Peterson's friends and family gathered outside of her home in hopes of renewing their search. Peterson's daughter, Daisy, said she wishes her mother was able to witness her strength.

"I'd tell mom that I love her a lot and I wish she was here to see my journey and how brave I've been," said Daisy Peterson. "If I saw the person I wouldn’t do anything to them because two wrong don't make a right. I'd just try to forgive them because I'm stronger and I'm better than them."

Peterson's family is offering a $10,000 reward for information in the case. Police said they are following some leads.
