FORWARD TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A driver said she lost control of her car and crashed into a Forward Township home when she tried to avoid hitting a deer Wednesday.
The accident happened near Morgan Run Road and Locust Avenue around 5 p.m.
The driver told police she was going too fast and swerved to miss a deer when she hit the home. No one was inside the house at the time of the accident.
"I was coming down my steps. It was a really big bang. It sound liked gunshots going off," said neighbor Sarah Stump.
Restoration crews spent part of the night working to clean up the damage.
Police said the driver hurt her ribs and a passenger hurt his legs. They were both taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.
