Drivers report rocks thrown at cars on Route 28

PITTSBURGH — Police are looking for suspects after drivers reported rocks were thrown off an overpass early Wednesday morning on the North Side.

Authorities said it happened just before 1 a.m. on Route 28.

Investigators said a woman called and reported someone threw a rock or an object at her windshield.

When our Channel 11 News crew arrived at the scene, police were investigating.

So far, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police.
