Dump truck driver rescued after vehicle gets stuck in power lines

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A driver of a dump truck had to be rescued Friday morning after his truck got tangled in power lines and caught fire.

Officials said the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. on Rochester Road in Cranberry Township.

The driver said he was dumping the truck's load when it got caught.

Workers with the power company were called in and were able to get the driver out of the cab.

The driver was not seriously hurt.
