NEW CASTLE, Pa. — A fire broke out at a duplex in New Castle early Saturday morning.
Investigators said the fire started in the kitchen of the lower apartment of the duplex on East Wallace Avenue shortly after 2 a.m.
The residents of both apartments were able to get out safely. An ambulance was at the scene to help residents stay warm.
