Elderly man missing after walking away from Wilkinsburg personal care home (PHOTO)

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Update: Police said Andrew Jones has been found.

The Wilkinsburg Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 85-year-old man.

Authorities said Andrew Jones walked away from his personal care home on West Street just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Jones stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has gray hair and was last seen wearing white shoes, blue pants and a hooded, black and red-plaid jacket.

Investigators said Jones was last seen at the McDonald’s in Wilkinsburg shortly after leaving the facility.

According to police, detectives believe Jones may be heading to the Greentree area. Detectives said he has various health issues.

Anyone with information on Jones’ whereabouts is asked to contact 911.
