Jaws of Life used to rescue woman from car on Route 30

None — NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Firefighters worked for an hour to remove a woman from the wreckage of her car after an accident on Route 30.

Investigators said the driver lost control of her car in North Huntingdon near the Hamilton Car Dealership. Police said the driver hit six parked cars before crashing into a pole.

"I just heard tires squealing and then I heard a pretty loud crash. Once the impact of the car hit the pole I could hear the windows breaking and things like that," said witness Ron Mitko.

The woman was flown to a nearby hospital. Her name and condition have not been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
