WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. - Police said a Westmoreland County man is recovering after police said his estranged wife slashed his throat Thursday.
Police told Channel 11 News that the suspect had gone to a home in Vandergrift to see her children, resulting in a fight breaking out at the residence.
Authorities said the woman slashed Dane Hawley, 40, in the arm, chest, and neck.
Hawley is in the hospital.
The suspect is also in the hospital for some minor cuts and scrapes.
