SHALER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — This is the season for power outages and downed lines, usually caused by strong storms and wind.
However, the weather didn’t play a role in several lines coming down Friday in Shaler Township.
Channel 11's Alan Jennings visited the scene and learned the live wires forced some residents to stay in their homes until Duquesne Light crews gave the all-clear.
