Fans encouraged to watch Friday's Game 2 from inside PNC Park

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Thursday that they plan to host a special postseason watch party Friday afternoon at PNC Park.

The team is encouraging fans to cheer on the team from inside PNC Park as they take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 1 p.m.

Select sections of the ballpark will be open free for all fans to come and enjoy the game from the stands. The game will be streamed live on the PNC Park scoreboard.

Fans wishing to attend can enter through the Clemente Gate in center field and Mazeroski Gate in right field starting at noon.

Entry to the event is free and no ticket is required. The event is weather permitting.

The Budweiser Bowtie Bar will be open, as well as several concessions stands and the team store on the main concourse.

Regular game day policies and procedures regarding outside food and drink will be in place.

The team also announced that limited parking will be available in the North Shore lots. Fans are encouraged to park downtown.
