CRANBERRY, Pa. — One person died and another was hurt after a car and truck towing a camper collided on Interstate 79 near Cranberry Friday morning.
The accident was reported just after 10 a.m.
According to state troopers, a driver in a small Plymouth car was sitting on the berm of the road without his hazard lights on when he made a left turn directly into traffic.
The driver of the truck said he could not brake in time and hit the car head-on.
The driver of the car was killed and a 20-year-old passenger was seriously hurt.
Three people inside the truck were not hurt.
Police continue to investigate the exact cause of the crash.
