Fayette Co. gas station attendant robbed at knifepoint

CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — State police continue to search for a motorist who robbed a Fayette County gasoline station attendant at knifepoint.

Troopers from the Uniontown barracks said the suspect pulled up to the gasoline pumps at the Honey Bear Sunoco station in Bullskin Township about 1:50 a.m. Sunday as if he planned to buy gasoline.

When an attendant approached the car, the driver got out and threatened the clerk with a kitchen-style chef's knife.

According to police, the attendant gave money to the suspect, who then drove away on Route 982.

The attendant wasn't hurt during the heist.
