Woman facing assault charges after Chuck E. Cheese brawl

MONROEVILLE, Pa. — A fight broke out between a woman, her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend at Chuck E. Cheese during a birthday party Saturday night.

Police said Lynaa Dobbins’ ex-boyfriend was having a birthday party for his son at the Chuck E. Cheese on Route 22 in Monroeville.

Authorities said Dobbins, 20, showed up at the party about 7:30 p.m. to attack her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend, who was at the party.

According to police, Dobbins came in with a brick and a knife and then began fighting.

Authorities said the man's girlfriend suffered a head injury and had to get 12 stitches. Another woman was bitten when she tried breaking up the fight.

“That’s really scary. Why would they do that at a place where kids play?” nanny Kim Leger said as she left Chuck E. Cheese Monday. “We came here for an afternoon because it’s been really warm.”

Dobbins is scheduled to go before a judge next week on a number of assault charges.
