BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. - A nursing home in Beaver County was evacuated early Thursday morning because of a fire in a laundry room.
Officials said the fire happened at Elderberry Court in Ambridge.
Firefighters said smoke from a fire in the laundry room rose to the upper floors, prompting a complete evacuation of the building.
Everyone was allowed back inside after the building was ventilated.
One person was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
