A former cafeteria worker at Keystone Oaks High School is accused of stealing more than $90,000.
Authorities said Kathleen Smith made changes to student accounts and pocketed the cash. Investigators said an outside auditor linked all the missing money to Smith.
According to the police paperwork, Smith told detectives she needed the money to help pay her bills. The paperwork also said she called the actions, “just stupid.”
