Fourth of July forecast: Partly sunny, chance of scattered showers

PITTSBURGH — According to Severe Weather Team 11 meteorologist Kevin Benson, scattered showers are expected across much of the Channel 11 viewing area Wednesday.

Benson said there’s also a chance for isolated storms with heavy downpours. The high temperature is expected to be about 84 degrees Wednesday.

Overnight, Benson said he expects scattered showers throughout the area. He said it should be partly to mostly cloudy with a low temperature around 69 degrees.

On Thursday, the Fourth of July, Benson said clouds and sun are expected with the chance of scattered showers and storms. The high temperature will be about 82 degrees.
