NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. - A Hempfield Township woman was killed in a head-on accident on Route 30 in North Huntingdon Friday afternoon.
Judith Huntsberger, 74, died from blunt force trauma when her vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with another vehicle.
Huntsberger was pronounced dead after being taken to Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
According to Westmoreland County 911, the accident was reported on Route 30 at the Turnpike interchange around 4:30 p.m.
Route 30 was shut down Friday afternoon while crews worked to clear the accident.
It’s unclear if there were any other injuries.
