Hot and humid: Temps near 90 degrees Tuesday, isolated storms possible

PITTSBURGH — Temperatures will reach up to 90 degrees Tuesday, with isolated storms possible.

Severe Weather Team meteorologist Valerie Smock said Tuesday’s storms will be north of Pittsburgh. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but damaging winds are not out of the question.

Storm chances will increase as the week progresses. On Wednesday, storms can be strong to severe with heavy rain, damaging winds and hail.

The hot temperatures and humidity will stick around through the week, Smock said.
