WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. - A jury has ruled that Kennywood Park’s King Kahuna ride did not cause injuries suffered by a rider in 2008.
Sonya Smith sued the park owner for negligence after she claimed the ride caused spinal damage.
During the trial, a defense expert testified that Smith had pre-existing degenerative diseases and that her injury did not come from the ride.
